About The Fine Art Prints:

Each image is printed in limited editions of 250. All prints are signed, numbered and dated by the artist. A Certificate of Authenticity is supplied with each image purchase.

The images on this site were taken with either a Nikon 35mm camera and various Nikon lens or Mamiya medium format camera along with Mamiya lens. The film of choice was Kodak. A sturdy tripod was used in each instance. The majority of the photographs I take consisted of using both color and black and white film or slides from the same location and the same time of day.

A few images that may appear on this site could have been taken with Nikon Digital Cameras as my interest has turned to digital in the last few years. Just like in the darkroom where I have labored to enhance and improve my slide or negative prints so too have I labored to enhance and improve my digital images using computer photographic enhancing software, primarily Photoshop.

Many of my fine art photographs have been sold in my art gallery which is located in the Phoenix area. The majority have been purchased in black and white but here in Arizona the desert cactus and floral has been very popular in color. Fine art nudes have sold well. Most nudes are purchased by the lady of the house wanting something special for bedrooms, hallways and baths. The 12x18 print size framed and matted to 18x24 has been the size of choice for clients wanting to decorate the home and for corporate offices. A few photographs have been printed all the way up to 3 foot by 4 foot with matting and frames added to that.

If you are interested in purchasing an image in a different size than those listed on the site pages, please email or call and we'll get you a quote.

Print Presentation:

All photographs are printed as Giclée., loosely pronounced Z-clay. The process is one that uses special archival inks and paper to ensure longevity. Research depicts the life of images printed using this technique can easily exceed fifty years or more.

To continue the archival process the photographs are mounted on acid free foamcore and matted with 100% cotton rag matboard.

High quality black metal molding is used for the black and white images. Single or double outer mats are neutral white. (Inner mats are complimentary to the image if the image is in color). Black metal moldings along white neutral matting for a black and white photograph follows the style preferred by major galleries, art museums, corporate offices and work very well in homes.

Premium clear glass is used on all framed pieces unless other arrangements are made. To replace the clear glass with a conservation, non reflective glass containing UV protection will require an extra charge. The exact amount would be dependent on the size of the mounted image and needs to be requested at the time of purchase.
